Slap Pals is a collaboration between myself and Astrid Scott. Our palindromic moniker is a combination of our initials that also references out interest in humour. We've put the slap into slap-stick art.

Our approach to making work is to resolve all aesthetic and conceptual decisions back to the original proposition or thought.

So far Slap Pals have created two exhibitions with more on the horizon. Our most recent endeavour Slap Pals get sacked — an art improvement program was a multi-media installation based around ideas of reduction as efficiency. It was shown at the George Paton Gallery at Melbourne University. Prior to this Slap Pals created Coloured Light Plays at the Alderman in Brunswick.
